Joining the GTR (2-6 Oct)

My gosh, I dunno where to start. I have so many though in my head and I miss the five riders.

Day 1 - 2 Oct

Stayed over at Serangoon for the convenience so that my parents could send me off in the morning. Before the birds awake, I've gotten up and was driven to Changi Airport by my dearest brother instead. Thai Airways' check-in counters are located at Terminal 1 and I checked in a small 5kg-filled bag.

Singapore --> Bangkok Airport

Spoken to a Thai retiree during the flight and he's a nice uncle who gave me some tips on Thai culture and filled me with anticipation of the beautiful scenic backdrop of Northern Thailand.

I rotted at BKK as the transit was a good five-six hours cuz of the intention to reach Chiang Rai at 3pm, I need to catch the early flight to BKK. Guess I know how to plan properly next time to keep transit as short as possible. Rotted very badly cuz I cannot enter the International departure area. The domestic area is pathetic. Nothing to do, nothing to shop... I bought a readers' digest and really digested it for few hours. Wifi is chargeable and not worth the dollars.

I went to the domestic holding gate way too early cuz I forgot about GMT difference. (LOL, I even call myself a flight attendent?) I even though the flight was delayed. LOL!~

Bangkok --> Chiang Rai

I waited for about 30-45mins for the riders to pick me up. The feeling was awesome! We soon checked into a guesthouse, which the rest claimed it's the worst accomodation but less the mosquitoes. LOL~ Surprisingly I find it alright cuz in comparison to my worst, it's a rank before that. Hehehe

Had the cheap cheap Thai-style steamboat table BBQ, Jon's favourite, for dinner and smoked out hair and clothes out. It's around 100 baht per person. ^_^

After dinner, we bought bottled water, went back to the room and snoozed till the next morning...

F Annoyed

I've never felt so much hatred in me. I feel like a boiling volcano!

Why does he f act nice n cool in front of me when he's f so unhappy about me?? Y did he f appeared 'reconciled' when he dun like me at all?

Why does he f complain to everyone else but me directly? Why do I have to feel this way: I hate him!!!

Now I really prefer tat he hates me n thrash things out in my face than acting like nothing happened in front of me! Bloody liar, fake, betrayal, loser n f actor!!! U dun deserve all the good people ard u! U r surrounded by all things evil n temptations n yet u set ur bitterness upon all others! Selfish idiot!

U live in fear! U fear tat all the good things will part u one day! Becuz of ur selfishness, u bring pain to others. It's amazing good things still stay. However, pls note tat the quantity is there but the quality no longer exist. U lost u luxurious good stuff due to ur lousy management n f up nature. U give in to temptation n it seems like u nv regret nor feel sorry?! U nv apologised for ur wrong-doings n u're such a disappointment!!

I shall never change any opinion about u that I have of u since that beginning!

I detest u!

Sigh... But I feel so much better now thrashing all these feelings here.

Health detoriation

Yesterday, I was chatting with a female colleague n she shared with me her health condition which we all suspect it's due to our work nature.
She also comes to suffer from allergy after joining our job for some time. Mine is skin, which I dun hav problems with last time. Hers is allergy towards seafood n even most painkillers which she dun get last time too. Imagine how she's gonna be if she were to become pregnant.
Seriously, we ladies have to really take care of our bodies.

Happy 25th Birthday

Thanks to Jon and all my buddies for the little surprise at Maritime.... is that a club house? or hotel? 29-01-2010 marks my 25th year in life. I wish that this year shall be a great year for me... in everything!

The place is nice. I like the fact it's not too crowded. The food is not bad except for the fried stuff. LoL The serving uncle is so friendly and reminds me of our onboard service with a smile and professionalism. It's really rare to find such service in Singapore.

Mr Jonathan, I'm still waiting for my gift... it's gonna be fixed on 12Feb10 k???

Feel that I got lots to write... but I seriously dunno where to start...

Went out with my dear friend just now n found out she's seeing n dating someone. Hee~ that's so nice, we've been waiting for her to fall in love and finally!

I have been having difficulty maintaining normal sleeping hour... hubby is complaining I'm not trying hard enough to adjust. I hate that feeling... It's annoying and frustrating at times that when I adjusted my sleeping hour back to singapore, I gotta adjust again when I am overseas. DAMN! Sometimes I just feel like quitting my job. So that I can be normal like many others n have the time to accompany all my love ones.

But so much I love my job too... I keep telling myself to enjoy myself when I'm working n overseas, my funny off days to do nothing or run tonnes of errands n do what I wanna do. I know very well that this kinda life will not be with me forever. In my heart, I know very well that I would not fly for long. N I can't see myself making flying as my career. I wanna have my own child after my contract. But I have a degree to complete. I would like to hold my traditional wedding soon. I know everyone is just waiting, but I am so lazy to plan again. Sigh. Think it's just me, goal-less.

I know some of u will wanna scold or nag at me for being like that; lazy.

I think I am just waiting for the contract to be up... then I'll change a job n buck up my life with a so-called 'normal' job. I can then attend all the lessons I have... I have arrange my time better to spend with my family... n yes, I can sleep normally... eat normally... n exercise normally... not feeling lazy anymore...

the IFS in the recent briefing session mentioned about having motivation after being stagnant in a job... he mentioned about promotion. Kao it never cross my mind before... I think I better get out of the airline soon...

but now that it's mentioned... why should I fear promotion???

Year 2010

It's been sometime since I've blogged... I think I've forgotten about it for a long while... Realise I still have one when I saw an email requesting for photobucket password. I think someone tot she has my ID, keep sending password request to my email. Anyway, I was viewing all the old pics I've in the old albums... the good old days... best friends... Schools days... with ex-es day... my slim slim days... n my straight straight hair... I realise how much I miss my fat-less arms, slimmer waist, n my long dyed straight hair. LOL. Can't believe what food n nil exercise have done on me...

Resolution #1 - Exercise n slim down at least 3kg... wanted to put 4kg... I think I have to be realistic

2009 had been eventful, I hope this year shall be a wonderful n smooth year for every loved ones around me.

Resolution #2 - Be a good gal, good wife, good daughter, good sister, as well as good daughter-in-law... in short... be nice!

to be nice ---> Resolution #3 - Cut down on the cursing n swearing words... *beeP*

Not sure how well can I manage school this semester with more modules... so

Resolution #4 - study hard n play less...

I think I shall not lay down too much.. it's already so much... I hope the #1 will be fulfiled by end of the year!

Oh 靜茹 has realeased another new album FALL IN LOVE & SONGS. Found out about the new album while I am watching MTV Asia. This album has a lot of nice songs. Sometimes u'll wonder if the songs are tailor-made for her, or her voice simply fits into every songs she sang. Sweet n soulful is what I always feel when I hear her sing.

Anyway, this duet, PK, with 曹格 is an interesting & groovy song about how usually man & woman challenge each other in a relationship, at times one party doesn't wanna give in, friends are more important, etc etc. Sounds nasty huh? But this song doesn't loose the loving n romantic element in the music n it ends with a good note (they still love each other ^_^)

P.S Rem to pause my norah jones' background music before u enjoy the mtv!

My Worst Pedicure Experience

Ytd was my 1st worst encounter at a pedicure session. It's my 2nd time to this nail saloon. I revisit this place cuz the price is cheaper than those at the malls, the gals are really quick, it's pretty quiet cuz the small area will not be too crowded, n it's at Clementi.

The same part-timer gal did my pedicure n manicure. I still didn't get a chance to try the boss' service.

Anyway, this gal over-shave the callus under my right foot. While I was walking my way back home, I had this sticky feeling between my foot n slipper. I lifted up foot n found blood stain on my slipper. TMD@!#@%$^%^%$^% Cuz of the walking impact, my poor skin cracked n bled while I walked. I called the boss immediately n complained. I did it in a nice way lar... but tell u.. the 1st thing that ran thru my mind was "if u're in states, u're gonna be sued lo!!!" ArghZ but I still managed to keep my cool, telling the boss to ask her to be more careful next time.

It's better after 1 day of healing n my thick dressing managed to absorb pressure at the ball of the foot.

Gals, my conclusion is never let the manicurists shave ur skin!!! I actually stopped asking these manicurists to shave my callus until this gal re-assured me it's better to shave off a bit b4 filing during my 1st trip. I shouldn't have trusted them. ARGH! Lucky I dun have diabetes or watever...

ARGH! How can someone be so careless... I suspect she already knew she had over-shaved my foot b4 that! cuz her filing was much gentler than the right foot. n I felt the itchy tingling feeling when I foot was soaked back into the water. I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED IMMEDIATELY WHEN I FELT THE PRICKLING SENSATION!!! I knew it... but I let go, cuz I choose to trust her service... TMD

The New Ride in the House

I hope I never get this wrong... it's the BMW R1200 GS Adventure (2008)!!! Jon has been telling me how comfortable this bike would be for me in the past. & yes, it's very comfortable for the pillon-rider. Jon loves big bike n finally his wish is granted! He's now the new owner of this GS. I am very happy for him that he got what he wanted.

I'm obsessed with this song. I can listen to it over n over again... (for the time being I just dun get sick of it) I like the emotions David Cook puts into this song. His unique vocal... a lil' bit rock, a lil' bit 烟酒味, sounds sexy, right? lol some more I find him quite handsome...

My 3 days in Pakistan

Tmr is the 4th.. by evening I'll be flying into Karachi then back to Singapore. Can't wait to be home. Lucky the crew here are nice n willing to accompany one n other for makan, making the days pass faster. The fhotel ood here are pretty nice actually.


Anyway there're the news making headlines for the past 3 days.

Mumbai... Bangkok

I've never know I can step into this foreign place. Anyway after the terrorist attack in Mumbai, everybody is talking about safety n security. Being in Pakistan, so close to India now, means we have to be more vigilant n ensure personal safety. We are not advise to go out/out too far. Things mentioned like kidnapping Singaporeans, the story of the Singaporean girl got shot in the head at Taj Mahal Hotel, etc... It sounds really scary to me... it's not like scare = scare. It's more of like I must be safe, I need to reach home safe n sound, there're people at home waiting for me n etc...

I hear from some Lahore is a beautiful place. Being in this kinda situation, I doubt the crew n I are going out to sightsee. What a waste... but ya, safety is more important n anything else. Anyway, someone said we can go to the bazaar... oh we'll see how things go...

Oh ya , mom n dad's air tickets to Bangkok is changed to Macau instead. They're given further discount to change their new destination. They're cancelling a lot of flights into BKK due to the situation theere. Anyway, hope that they enjoy the Macau trip too... My dad is getting cranky with the hotels thingy... the c. card thingy... lol... when will he ever take a sit n relax?

I'm back from TAIWAN~!

That place is really welcoming. I can truely feel the WELCOME 2 TAIWAN when I'm there. TAIPEI n HUALIEN, my fav is HUALIEN, I WANNA GO BACK THERE AGAIN!
