Making Someone Smile Part II

TADAH! Meet my new friend! The scandal Sea Lion from Japan! Oops! No lar, it's Sirotan from Japan!

But hey, I didn't buy this white fellow myself. It's a gift from Isaac. How sweet ya? It's a gift of smile actually... ^_^ I didn't know he would be so thoughtful to remember this sea lion I described during that kopi session after my NRT and before his NRT flight.

Really thank him for the effort to bring this fellow back and made me smile... ^_^

One more thing that made this toy more special is that I once told Ah Da I want the toy tortise from Action City, he straight away told me "dun buy lar... it's a waste of money... might as well spend it elsewhere..." *glassbreaking sound* Though I know soft toys might be redundant sometimes, having a few from BF is sweet, isn't it? I remember I even slapped myself by replying "den I'll buy it myself lo...." So I asked if he dislikes soft toys and he said that he used to like them in the past but now he dislikes them. *glass cracks again* =( So, gone is the idea of having a soft toy from your love... =(

Anyway, the whole class was in chaos after Jasmine accidentally reviewed this sea lion during break time. Was wondering if I should pay him the money back & dunno why he somehow wonder if he should accept the money from me, but come to think of it, I didn't request him to buy for me. So I accepted it as a gift, ya? *kekeke*

Haha! So it turned out to be a so-called scandal which i claim it would be able to keep 878 going juicy, happy, and crappy before we graduate and FLY away. RIGHT?

Making Someone Smile Part I

It's lovely how little things people do can make someone smile.

Today, the whole batch is affected by Esther's decision to leave us. Most of us did our best to persuade/counsel her to stay. Even the management too. However, she's still given till this week to really finalize her decision. I hope she'll stay and I hope whatever she choose, she'll not regret. I guess all of us didn't know how traumatized she is ever since she stepped in to meet the monsters, but lucky we're the angels for her and she said we are the one she can't bear to leave the most.

Anyway, we organized a last minute dinner with her at NEW YORK NEW YORK just now. It's a very nice and sweet dinner & with the purpose to make her smile too.

This's our little gal, Esther. We had the fried MARS bar for dessert today.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE!

So yesterday, I specially went down to Jurong Point (JP), the very very far mall I go less than 5 times a year, to help out my friends for the Day of PEACE event. Oh it's lovely to see the gals again, although most of them are new gals. Well I didn't help out much, but I'm happy they show appreciation of my presence, esp Ivy who gave me a small bouquet of flowers.

24 Sep 2006 marks this Day of PEACE. A little concert was held at the central stage of JP.

My duty was to do makeup for the Peace models. But the pathetic me only had 2 experiments for the day. Seriously I find it hard to do makeup for others, esp when their features and face structures are way so different.

The flash is too strong, so I think you can't really see the colors. *Sigh*, what a excuse huh?

The fav. gal for today, Jing Jing in Korean costume. Knew her 1 year ago & she was plain at that time. Now, she's stunning!

We had a little friendly competition to design costumes for Peace. Here's the winner of the day & my fav. too. A drawing drawn by an artist flown from Korea (in Green). I've forgotten her name thou. The model is the new helper for the Peace Models in Singapore. I'm bad at names.

Jet Lag

Looking at what time issit (bottom face = SG time), I confirmed that I'm suffering from Jet Lag... Anyway, this's my new duo-time watch I've gotten recently for work only. After a tough search, it's the final winner @ $65 with 2 yrs warranty cum 5 years free battery change. Though it looks Auntie (according to Mr Ah Da), I still like the classic oldie look & it looks like mom's old tian chang di jiu Sovil Titus. What I dun like is the seconds-hand cuz they look odd "jumping".

Haha* Tell u gals a latest secret. I cried onboard during the SIN to SYD flight!!! (nothing special right?) Cuz I was seriously shocked by a senior crew who eventually turned out being nice to me. I guess I was shocked by the hurrying crew and super under-performance of myself. The more I wanna work properly, the more I get it worst. I'm glad that she actually took the initiative to speak to me no matter how afraid I was. I'm glad that she didn't use the ZAP-me-all-over technic on me. & I'm glad I'm courageous enough to tell her that I was actually afraid of her. After being frank and speak our hearts out, she in turn become more willing to guide me in the softer way and I've learnt that they're not that hard-hearted anyway. The rest were nice too, though as usual I can still sense the bit of bitchiness in some of them.

Oh Fernie, you've really fallen into a deep trap with no turning back neh... *hahaha* So much more to learn, I pray that I'll pick up fast and I will survive!

Once we touched down, Ayu and myself slept for few hours and we had difficulty pulling ourselves up. So we had lunch with the seniors and after that we break ourselves from 1 shopping gal and shop by ourselves. So I've arranged a meet up with Selena, Ah Da's younger sister to bring us around as well as to pass her some of the softcopy photos I'm instructed to bring over.

First Training Flight!

Yo babes, I'm sorry I didn't bring out my cam when I'm shopping at Narita & I dun have a take-photo-siao with me, so I can say no pics from Narita. Anyway I dun think I was not in the mood to take photos cuz I was too tired.

So after the first flight from SIN to NRT, I didn't know I used to much of my body muscle man. Woke up early in the morning and had a hard time going back to sleep for an extra 2 more hours before shopping. My body was aching!~ Even till now it IS aching still. Welcome back, flatty stomach! I miss u!

The mentors are very nice and good. The first mentor given, Yin, is a senior gal of about 6 yrs + of experience. She shared with me so much and had taken care of me well. & yes, she's evry steady. Really appreciate her help and she did made an effort to treat me well lar. ^_^ The very da-jie style.

The second mentors for NRT-SIN are 2 lovely ladies. One look like Phyllis Quek, the other is a very nice Japanese gal. Learnt a lot from them. The whole crew are very helpful. Thou some might appear more stern or naggy or hao-lian, they never zap. Thank God. ^_^ Thank God too the flights were safe.

Anyway, she's the best room-mate I believe. We just change in the room and sometimes walk ard in our undies. HAHA! & best thing... I'm messy, but she doesn't mind. ^_^

The tasteless, or should I say the healthiest SOYMILK I've ever drank. DAMN I LEFT MY PEACH JELLY IN THE HOTEL FRIDGE! =( I wonder how it tasted like.

So I’ve found out what had happened. I’m happily walking around to each of you ladies blog and my IE hanged! So I’ve decided to redo this entry in a word doc first. (How clever of me ya?) kekeke*

First to our beloved Rachel. I’m so happy that you’ve settled down safely at Sans. And looking at the pics, very enjoyable right? Did you dream of me at night? Kekeke* Okay, let’s have a deal, if I ever got the chance to fly to Sans before u come back, WE MUST MEET, k?! SmileZ*
Ooo… I’m eating and typing at the same time. Li hai ba?* Okie, next is Kris, I will confirmed be seeing u all on Wed. I wonder if Kris has a wishlist too??? No dress code hor??? It shall be rounds of photo-taking session that day. To somehow compensate the few photos we took at Jean’s.

Hmm looking at Jean’s entry, I’m so envious man… Maybe not so much of envious, just that I’m very happy for her that she has Dan. Someone who takes the extra effort to make you happy. Why my Ah Da dun ah?

Do things always do half way, dun wanna go the extra. I think I’m expecting more and more from him till I very DL. I tried being honest, and guess what I think I was too honest that he dun wanna give a damn anymore. So sian, he’s on re-service already but we went out together to attend the friend’s wedding yesterday. Everything was fine until he sent me home. I was sick and I dropped hints for him to help carry my things up. Nope, not done. I think if it’s any other guy, they will help lo!~ Even my dad will!

I’m no longer that compromising, no longer that tolerating, does that mean I no longer love him like the past? Whenever he talked those rubbish I dun wanan hear, I just shut off. Super sian… I’m getting used to live my own lifestyle again. I wonder if I am able to breakup with him and be alone again and not being hurt again. SIAN! Sometimes I wonder why the hell I wanna be attached. TMD!
